Earthwork Utility Heavy Equipment Operator | In this role you will…
Be responsible for operating company owned machinery in a safe and effective manner. Able to demonstrate safe operation of assigned equipment. Operator is expected to use his/her experience and judgement to make decisions considering safety and efficiency.
- Ensure all safety requirements and codes are implemented and met by all team members
- Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed
- Understand means and methods to safely perform assigned tasks
- Understand and ensure safety of team members
- Monitor and track field data as requested by superintendent
- Maintain paperwork daily
- Operate heavy equipment includes running, maneuvering, navigating, and driving
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life in accordance to company policies and procedures
- Perform daily pre-inspections: identify problems or defects that need corrected, report problems or defects immediately
- Heavy Equipment includes (but not limited to):
Excavator, Dozer, Off Road Truck, Motor Grader, Backhoe, Skid Steer, Roller, Reclaimer, etc.
- Salary that will be negotiated and will be based on skill set, experience, position best suited to your skills, and the market.

- Understand earthwork / utility means and methods
- Travel for periods of time, as projects require
- Flexible to help where needed
