- Perform minor and major repair of building, equipment, and machinery.
- Perform preventive maintenance services on forklift and light trucks.
- Lifting, loading, and carrying up to 100 lbs.
- Maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures.
- Clean and inspect machinery as required.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists on building equipment.
- Operate a computer that controls and monitors mechanical equipment and utility systems.
- Install electrical wiring and equipment.
- Repairs electrical equipment, control circuits, electrical switches, and refrigeration equipment.
- Walk and stand for long periods in diverse environmental conditions.
- Hold an LME electrician's license or Journeyman license (preferred).
- Wear protective gear and equipment.

- Perform other ad‑hoc duties as assigned by the manager.

- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- General knowledge of OSHA safety procedures (e.g., lockout/tag‑out).
- Willingness to work flexible extended hours.
- Ability to stand for long periods on concrete.
- Attention to detail and quality assurance mindset.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
- Ability to read and interpret production schedules.
- Ability to interact well with a variety of personalities and backgrounds.
- Ability to remain calm and complete tasks under stress.
- Reliability, dependability, and trustworthiness in all actions.
- 1–3 years of experience in building mechanical equipment maintenance and repair or equivalent education/technical school training.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists on building and machinery equipment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Preferred experience operating computerized controls and monitoring mechanical equipment.
