Service Technician - Tier 1

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance on refrigeration systems to ensure they operate efficiently and effectively.
• Perform assigned work tickets, diagnosing issues, replacing parts, and performing system upgrades.
• Respond to emergency calls and be available at all hours, often requiring long hours.
• Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including maintenance schedules, repair logs, and parts inventories.
• Offer training and support to clients to ensure they understand how to operate and maintain their Clauger systems.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and peers regarding operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with industry regulations and safety standards.
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in Clauger technology and industry best practices.
• Work unsupervised or with limited instruction.
• Maintain and manage truck inventory and/or job toolboxes in an accurate, neat, and orderly manner and adhere to vehicle maintenance program guidelines.

• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Pass physical examination and respirator fit testing.
• Available to travel 25% of the time.
• Availability to be on call nights and/or weekends as required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to work independently or as part of a team, and strong attention to detail.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and handle tools and machinery safely, including climbing ladders, working at high elevations, and lifting objects up to 75 pounds.
• Basic computer skills for electronic documentation.
• EPA Section 608 card.
