Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback. using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
- Perform minor to intermediate inspections, repairs, and replacements following company guidelines on all Walmart equipment such as trailers, tractors, yard trucks, shop equipment, and service vehicles; create and process work orders; perform minor diagnostics using technical and electronic equipment on various Walmart equipment; assess maintenance repair and replacement needs; identify needed parts and possible solutions; consult with others to select best solutions;
conduct repairs and replacements such as drivetrain components, communication equipment, onboard technology, tractor and minor trailer diagnostics, HVAC systems; and follow Department of Transportation DOT guidelines and requirements. - Receive fuel drops and conduct fuel sampling by monitoring drops to ensure safety compliance; follow procedures for fuel additives; monitor tank levels before and after the drop; collect and prepare fuel samples for analysis and shipping; and complete appropriate paperwork.
- Correctly identify and perform warrantable repairs by entering accurate information on condition, cause, and correction into the maintenance system; complete warranty tags as needed; retain parts according to warranty guidelines; and create and process warranty claims to ensure proper credit is received according to company guidelines.

- 2 years’ experience in tractor and trailer inspection and repair OR a technical school degree, or certification in Heavy‑Duty Truck/Trailer Maintenance.
- Valid state‑issued driver’s license.
