Responsibilities
- Perform structural and fabrication welding in both shop and field environments.
- Weld steel components using MIG and/or stick welding techniques, ensuring high-quality, clean welds.
- Assist with general construction tasks, including framing, steel erection
, and assembly of metal structures. - Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols to determine layout and sequence of operations.
- Operate a variety of power tools and heavy equipment
, including forklifts, skid steers, and manlifts. - Work safely at heights using proper fall protection and harness equipment.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area.
- Follow all company and OSHA safety protocols.
- Proven welding experience in structural or industrial settings (MIG and/or stick welding).
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and weld symbols.
- Experience in framing and general construction preferred.
- Equipment operation experience required (certifications a plus).
- Comfortable working at heights and in all outdoor conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Must be able to lift 75+ lbs and perform physically demanding work.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required.
