We are currently seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team on a contract basis As a Carpenter you will be responsible for constructing installing and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood plywood and wallboard This role requires someone with excellent carpentry skills and a strong attention to detail

• Read and interpret blueprints drawings and sketches to determine materials needed
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers levels and squares
• Cut shape and smooth materials using hand tools or power tools
• Install structures and fixtures such as windows frames floorings trimmings doors and hardware
• Inspect structures to ensure they meet building codes
• Repair or replace damaged frameworks or other wooden structures
• Follow safety procedures when working with tools and equipment

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
• Knowledge of woodworking techniques and tools
• Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings
• Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

This is a contract position based in the US with an immediate start date The salary for this role is $1300 per week Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract
