Maintenance Technician I - 31020

We are currently looking for a Part Time 38 Maintenance Technician I to join our Chickasaw Retreat and Conference Center Maintenance team located at the Chickasaw Retreat and Conference Center working.

Summary:

Maintains building environment and grounds by maintaining building, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment as well as grounds keeping and repair services.

Responsibilities:

  • Secures building and occupants by maintenance of fire alarm protection
  • Maintains accurate and timely processing of all electrical safety checks, preventive and corrective work orders, contracts and other applicable documentation
  • Paints interior and exterior walls, trim, doors, fixtures and signs as needed
  • Maintains building climate by trouble-shooting heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment
  • Maintains building accessibility by removing ice and snow from walkways and parking lot
  • Mows the lawn and cleans surrounding landscapes
  • Maintains facilities plumbing including fixtures and sprinklers
  • Hauls file and boxes, moves furniture, sets up furnishings, prepare rooms for meetings, assemble public announcement and audio-visual equipment following manufacturer's operating and care guidelines, and repairs and installs replacement parts to assure equipment is in working order when needed
  • Identifies and corrects hazardous working conditions
  • Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency
  • Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
  • Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types
  • Maintains a clean, organized work area and ensures a safe environment
  • Maintains and promotes professionalism
  • Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics
  • Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards
  • Maintains knowledge of and follows all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines for assigned area
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

Experience:

  • No prior experience required

Education:

  • High School, GED or Equivalent

Credentials:

  • Pass general background check
  • Standard Driver's License
  • Pass gaming background check
  • Gaming license or permit as required by assigned position
