Your role will be crucial in navigating the complexities of statutory case responsibilities for children on Placement Orders.

What you will do

  • Take statutory case responsibility for children on Placement Orders with a care plan of adoption, ensuring their needs are met every step of the way.
  • Collaborate with RAA Adoption Lancashire Blackpool to manage and track cases for children in the court arena, attending care planning meetings and progressing adoption matches.
  • Maintain the child’s voice as central to all processes, including the creation of documents such as the Child Permanence Report and life story work.
  • Prepare each child for their adoption journey, supporting their understanding of changes in their lives and helping them understand their identity and history.
  • Support both the child and adoptive family until the adoption order is complete, providing robust evidence to court when required.
  • Engage in opportunities for professional development by taking on roles that improve service delivery and quality control.
