Your Role

  • Development and implementation of firmware for highly integrated electronic components in robotic systems
  • Support in circuit development and testing for electronic assemblies
  • Conducting tests and error analysis to ensure the functionality and reliability of components
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (mechanics, software, system integration) to coordinate system requirements
  • Documenting development processes, test results, and technical specifications
  • Supporting the optimization of hardware and firmware designs in terms of performance, energy efficiency, and cost
Your Profile
  • Study of electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, or a comparable course
  • Understanding of electronic circuits and components
  • Basic knowledge of embedded software and firmware development (e.g., C/C++)
  • Experience with oscilloscope, logic analyzer, and similar laboratory equipment
  • Experience in debugging circuit boards, ideally in combination with firmware hands-on mentality
  • Analytical and structured working method as well as problem-solving skills
  • Independent, meticulous, and team-oriented working style
  • Good communication skills in German and English
  • Willingness to work 6 months full-time on-site in Oberkochen
