Work Shift:

Day (United States). Salary Range: $40,310.00 – $52,403.00 per annum (Min. $18.00/hr – Max. $23.00/hr).

• Deliver U.S. mail, internal mail pouches, and parcels to on‑ and off‑campus locations.
• Sort correspondence for vehicle loading and ensure timely delivery.
• Process mail using a metered mailing machine and assign appropriate cost‑center numbers.
• Perform order fulfillment from warehouse inventory.
• Pickup mail from the USPS facility, load it into the delivery vehicle, unload onto flat‑bed carts, and organize carts in the mailroom.
• Drive straight trucks (GVW up to 18,000lb), cargo vans, and mini/transit vans safely between the main campus and off‑site locations, following NYSDOT, federal, state, and local regulations.
• Perform detailed pick‑up and delivery of outbound U.S. mail, internal office mail, pouches, and parcels.
• Interact professionally with customers ranging from executive management to support staff.
• Stage and sort mail, clustering envelopes by mail code and attaching paperwork or rubber bands as required.
• Deliver mail to internal customers on campus, and off‑load mail to the ASAV system (22
  
  NSA). When filling in, handle floor‑by‑floor inbound deliveries.
• Conduct HIS runs, pick up boxes from E‑1, and deliver them to the HIS record area in 22
  
  NSA.
• Assist in inbound and outbound operations at the 1275 Warehouse, including receiving, put‑away, fulfillment, and paperwork with a handheld device.
• Sort and process outbound U.S. mail by cost‑center number, following pre‑sort and flat‑envelope protocols.
• Complete STAT requests as directed by the Mailroom ASAV or its appointee.
• Prioritize and make delivery/pickup decisions in the best interest of the off‑site location and patient care when the Mailroom ASAV or supervisor is unavailable.

• High school graduate or GED.
• Valid New York State driver’s license and a clean standard driving record.
• Minimum 1–3years of experience in a service position involving supply chain, shipping and receiving.
• Minimum 1–3years of experience driving a commercial vehicle (van, non‑CDL, or CDL truck).
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Windows.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division (whole numbers, fractions, decimals).
• Customer‑service orientation and the ability to build win‑win relationships with colleagues.
• Knowledge of Materiel Management software tools and AMC policies.
• Good judgment and the capacity to follow AMC conduct and policies.

• Continuous driving of a motor vehicle during an eight‑hour shift.
• Load and unload boxes and bags repeatedly; may need to lift up to 50lb.
• Stand, kneel, stoop or crouch occasionally for up to eight hours during mail processing.
• Near‑vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception required.
• Occasional exposure to noise, hallway traffic, chemicals, biohazards, and crowds.

The role may require access to sensitive information governed by HIPAA and other federal and New York state statutes, and requires adherence to the “need‑to‑know” principle and information‑protection policies.
