Position Summary
The primary function of a delivery driver is to safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with company policies, federal and state regulations, and deliver all freight undamaged. The driver works as a team player to deliver, load/unload materials while providing a world‑class customer service experience.
Responsibilities- Inspect trucks/trailers for defects and ensure safe operation.
- Safely load building materials onto flatbeds or boom trucks and unload products at commercial and residential job sites.
- Deliver materials to assigned areas as directed by the customer while prioritizing personal safety and the safety of others.
- Maintain compliance records required by State and Federal regulations.
- Report all accidents involving the driver or company equipment.
- Lift heavy building materials up to 100+ lbs. during load/unload operations.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional attitude.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) – Class B required;
Class A strongly preferred. - Clear three‑year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
- Overall knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.

- Remain in a stationary position while driving a commercial vehicle 40% of the time.
- Lift heavy building materials up to 80 lbs. during loading/unloading.
- Move materials up to 80 lbs. while unloading flatbeds.
- Operate a commercial vehicle and/or boom vehicle while unloading materials.
- Judge distances accurately while delivering materials and/or operating a boom.
- Communicate with management and coworkers, exchanging accurate information.
- Work constantly in an outdoor environment during deliveries.
- Prioritize job sites and deadlines.
- Manage stress based on customer deadlines.
- Multitask effectively.
- Receive information and directions accurately.
- Communicate solutions promptly if problems arise.
- Demonstrate sound judgment in all scenarios.
