CDL Delivery Driver

Position Summary

The primary function of a delivery driver is to safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with company policies, federal and state regulations, and deliver all freight undamaged. The driver works as a team player to deliver, load/unload materials while providing a world‑class customer service experience.

• Inspect trucks/trailers for defects and ensure safe operation.
• Safely load building materials onto flatbeds or boom trucks and unload products at commercial and residential job sites.
• Deliver materials to assigned areas as directed by the customer while prioritizing personal safety and the safety of others.
• Maintain compliance records required by State and Federal regulations.
• Report all accidents involving the driver or company equipment.
• Lift heavy building materials up to 100+ lbs. during load/unload operations.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional attitude.

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) – Class B required;
  Class A strongly preferred.
• Clear three‑year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Overall knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.

• Remain in a stationary position while driving a commercial vehicle 40% of the time.
• Lift heavy building materials up to 80 lbs. during loading/unloading.
• Move materials up to 80 lbs. while unloading flatbeds.
• Operate a commercial vehicle and/or boom vehicle while unloading materials.
• Judge distances accurately while delivering materials and/or operating a boom.
• Communicate with management and coworkers, exchanging accurate information.
• Work constantly in an outdoor environment during deliveries.
