Flatbed OTR Class A CDL Driver

Overview

System Transport is hiring experienced CDL‑A flatbed truck drivers for regional and OTR routes in the western United States. The role involves transporting goods such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. As a flatbed driver you will:

• Transport a variety of products across regional and long‑haul routes.
• Secure cargo with tarps and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation for each trip.
• Adhere to company policies on safety, accessorial pay, and company procedures.

Full‑time drivers earn:

• Weekly Pay: $1,094.00 – $2,103.53 (dependent on experience, route, attendance, and length of service)
• Annual Pay: $56,888.00 – $ (double the weekly figure)
• Additional accessorial compensation for tarp pay, stop pay, detention pay, border crossing pay, safety bonuses, and over‑dimensional pay.
• Flatbed OTR driver rate of $0.55 – $0.60 per mile.

• Paid time off: 80 hours (1‑9 years) or 120 hours (10+ years) and 1 hour of sick leave per 30 hours worked

• Valid Class A CDL
• 21 years of age or older
• Safe driving record required
• No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
• 4+ months of driving experience required; 1 year of truck driving experience preferred
• Background check, clean drug test, and clean clearinghouse result required
• Physically able to lift a 90‑pound tarp onto a 5‑foot high platform twice (physical test during orientation)

• Home time: 3 weeks on, 3 days off (varies by division)
• Division 200 based at Spokane, WA

• All tractors equipped with lane departure & forward collision warning, hard‑brake monitoring, and satellite communication devices.
