GENERAL SUMMARY

This position will facilitate learning for an associate in applied science degree in the Design/Drafting Technologies program. The focus of this instructional position will include teaching in AutoCAD 2D & 3D, Soild Works, Revit, CADWorx, Civil 3D, GIS, & SDS
2. This will range from fundamental drafting basics to advanced design techniques and 3D printing.

EDUCATION
  • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline from an accredited college or university; master’s degree preferred.
  • Other combinations of education and industry experience may be substituted for degree requirement with appropriate approval.
EXPERIENCE
  • Evidences a history of demonstrating ethical and professional behavior.
  • Five (5) years documented successful work experience in related industry.
  • Teaching experience in Higher Education preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with various constituencies.
CERTIFICATIONS, REGISTRATIONS, AND/OR LICENSES
  • Valid Oklahoma driver’s license is required if performing the functions of the position requires the use of a personal or university vehicle.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to plan, organize and fulfill complex initiatives.
  • Must be skilled in the use of appropriate software and technology related to design and drafting.
  • Computer skills to include electronic communications, word processing, and the ability to use specific software associated with the position are necessary.

  • Superior interpersonal skills—including the ability to effectively recognize and resolve complex problems in a constructive manner.
