Work Schedule:

6 hours per week, evening classes. Appointment Length: 10 months. Hiring Range: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour, commensurate with education and experience. This is a grant-funded position. Continued employment is contingent upon the availability of grant or university funds. This adjunct position (two evenings per week/ three hours per class) will be responsible for the delivery of evening instruction to students enrolled in the ABE program, for classes held at OSUIT in Okmulgee, OK.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required.

• Three years experience in a formal educational environment required.

• Must have a current Oklahoma Teaching Certificate or license. Preferably high School standard or better.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills and human relations.
• Proven history of demonstrating ethical and professional behavior.
• Ability to work effectively with various audiences.
• Strong organizational skills as well as a demonstrated ability to multi-task and work in a deadline-driven environment.
• Flexible, innovative and self-motivated.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively recognize and resolve conflict.
• Ability to work evenings.
