Instructional Design Specialist
OSU Institute of Technology in Okmulgee is currently accepting applications for an Instructional Design Specialist. This individual is responsible for providing instructional resources and support to OSUIT faculty, staff, and others in the effective application of pedagogical theories and instructional technologies, and works collaboratively with administrators and faculty to promote high-quality teaching and learning experiences in both traditional and distance learning environments.
It also serves as a resource in maintaining and integrating instructional/learning technologies, ensuring consistency within and across subject/programs (e.g., syllabi, seat time equivalencies), and facilitating professional growth (e.g., up-to-date credentialing, certification).
Responsibilities:
- Provide instructional resources and support to faculty, staff, and others.
- Collaborate with administrators and faculty to promote high-quality teaching and learning.
- Maintain and integrate instructional/learning technologies.
- Ensure consistency within and across subject/programs.
- Facilitate professional growth, including credentialing and certification.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years teaching experience.
- Master's degree and strong background in online education preferred.
