Overview
Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Process Controls Network Engineer to join their team. As a Process Controls Network Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the plant operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Process Controls Network Engineer
Location: Oklahoma
Pay Range: $85,000 - $95,000

- Design, develop, and maintain industrial control system solutions including DCS, PLC, and HMI programs to meet operational needs.
- Implement software updates, patches, and manage network data and files to ensure system integrity and security.
- Create, test, and archive backups and disaster recovery files for critical systems and networks.
- Monitor KPIs for the Process Control Network (PCN) and initiate corrective actions to optimize system performance.
- Collaborate with plant management, engineers, maintenance teams, and contractors to provide expert guidance and support control system upgrades and troubleshooting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical, Chemical, or related field from an ABET-accredited institution.
- At least 1 year of experience designing, commissioning, and maintaining DCS-based control systems in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting and maintaining industrial automation networks, including firewalls and remote implementations.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools, and understanding of networking protocols such as IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, and QoS.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
