Hiring Range: $10.71-$11.36 hourly

The Facilities and eSports Assistant is charged with assisting in the supervision of evening Covelle Hall student workers and eSports Arena student workers, and performing duties in the absence of evening workers.
Core ResponsibilitiesAssist in supervising evening Covelle Hall student workers and eSports Arena student workers and perform duties in the absence of evening workers.
Education- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Proven history of demonstrating ethical and professional behavior.
- Two years of responsible health/wellness and/or gaming- related work experience.
- Knowledge of the realm of eSports, including knowledge on multiple platforms, eSports event functions, and gaming culture.
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license required if the position requires use of a personal or university vehicle.
- CPR preferred.
- Must be able to interact comfortably and effectively with a diverse client population.
- Must be able to effectively contribute in a dynamic, team environment.
- A positive can-do attitude along with a professional appearance and demeanor should be modeled at all times.
- Should be able to quickly grasp and apply training in learning new skills and methods.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, recommend and implement solutions in a timely fashion.
- Computer skills to include word processing, spreadsheets, project management, electronic communications, Discord and other gaming platforms, and an understanding of web technologies.
- Proven organizational skills, be neat in appearance, and ability to communicate with distinction both orally and in writing.
- Must be flexible, innovative and self-motivated.
- Strong written and oral communications skills required.
- Excellent listening, customer service and problem solving skills are essential, continually incorporating feedback, ideas and requests.
