Position Title
CNC Lathe Machinist – 3rd Shift
Location: Okmulgee, OK, US
Position Type: Full Time
Salary: $21.92 to $32.56 per hour, with occasional overtime. Additional $2.75 hourly skills differential and $2.40 night differential. One‑time signing bonus of $2,500 (paid $1,000 at first pay, $750 at 6 months, $750 at 9 months).
Monday thru Thursday 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM (3rd Shift). Background check, drug test, and pre‑employment physical required.
Arrowhead Winch Inc engineers and manufactures industrial winch, hoist, and drive systems under the BRADEN, CARCO, and Gearmatic brands. Essential Functions / Responsibilities- Perform machine set‑up on two- or multi‑axis CNC lathes.
- Read and understand blueprints, worksheets, and perform required mathematical calculations.
- Execute simple and complex machining operations to achieve specified finishes and tolerances.
- Complete required quality and production paperwork.
- Use inspection equipment to verify parts quality and specifications.
- Deburr machined parts when applicable.
- Conduct daily/weekly checks of machine conditions (oil levels, pressures, etc.).
- Prepare parts for the next operation (internal or external).
- Record labor in the production management system.
- Participate in improvements to enhance productivity and product quality.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices in the work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Acquire personal tools as necessary to perform machinist work.
- Perform machining operations on various machines with minimal assistance.
- Understand machine‑tool feed and speed concepts related to machining common materials.
- Experience and knowledge of setup procedures and techniques for CNC lathes.
- Read and understand blueprints and worksheets, and perform calculations.
- Use multiple types of inspection equipment to check machined parts.
- Basic computer skills required for accurate labor recording.
- Use material‑handling equipment to pull and position parts and materials.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Have good hand‑eye coordination and hand dexterity.
- Use hand tools and power tools frequently.
- Reach with hands and arms frequently.
- Stand and walk on concrete floors for 8–10 hours per day.
- Bend and squat frequently.
- Lift 50 pounds.
- Apply 65 pounds of push/pull force.
- Comfortable with frequent exposure to greases, oils, solvents, and surface coatings.
- Work safely with heavy machinery and equipment.
- See clearly and follow written instructions.
- Communicate clearly.
