Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Highland Park Health Care in Okmulgee, OK is looking for Certified Nursing Assistants to join our team. Our long‑term and rehabilitative care facility is recognized for its achievements and contributions.

• Provide personal care to residents in a safe and comfortable manner consistent with community policy.
• Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.
• Notify the supervising charge nurse of resident status at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Contribute knowledge of resident conditions and needs to resident care plans.
• Assist in implementing care plans as directed within the parameters of established policy and procedure.
• Observe and report on residents’ conditions, documenting observations as required.
• Comply with procedures for safe lifting and/or safe transfer of residents per established policies and procedures.
• Perform moderate to heavy lifting when necessary.
• Ensure equipment is clean and functional.
• Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks to keep the environment clean and hazard‑free for residents, visitors, and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

• State certification as a nursing assistant.
• Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant.
• Highly developed observation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Day: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Evening: 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
PRN as needed.
