Customer Service Delivery Driver

Job Description

This position works closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the right solutions. The role also involves delivering products to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores in a safe and timely manner using Company vans or pick‑up trucks. The pilot will work with sensitive items such as cash and customer information, and therefore a criminal history review is required to protect the Company, its customers, staff, and the public.

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Process sales transactions accurately in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and records.
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications.
• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers in a safe, timely manner, and assist with loading and unloading from vehicles.
• Maintain the store vehicle and report repair and servicing needs.
• Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.
• Comply with all laws, traffic regulations, safety procedures, and company policies when driving a vehicle.
• Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
• Operate equipment and machines, such as forklifts, as required.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must possess a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
• Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
• Previous work experience selling paint or paint-related products.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language, including Spanish.

The wage range for this role takes into account experience, training, licensure, and other business needs.
