Dollar General is seeking a Sales Associate to serve customers and maintain store operations at the OKMULGEE, OK location.

• Act as the point of contact for customers.
• Assist in setting and maintaining plan-o-grams and programs.
• Stock merchandise adequately and rotate shelves.
• Build merchandise displays.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Unloading trucks and handling inbound merchandise.
• Operate cash registers and flat‑bed scanners, itemizing purchases and managing cash.
• Provide bagging services and handle payments.
• Manage ordering of merchandise using hand‑held scanners as needed.
• Perform front‑end cleaning and help set up sidewalk displays.
• Clean store floors, restrooms, and stockroom.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Greet customers in a friendly manner.

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of safety policies and practices.
• Ability to read and follow plan‑o‑grams and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, and kneeling.
• Frequent handling and moving of merchandise and equipment such as handheld scanners, pricing guns, box cutters, containers, two‑wheel dollies, U‑boats, and roll‑tainers.
• Frequent and proper lifting of up to 40 pounds; occasional lifting up to 55 pounds.
• Occasional climbing (using step ladder) up to heights of six feet.
• Fast‑paced environment with a moderate noise level.
• Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions.
