Industrial HVAC Technician
We are seeking an experienced Industrial HVAC Technician to join the team at a facility in Okmulgee, OK. This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, testing, and calibration of commercial and industrial HVAC systems. In this role, you will ensure the reliable operation of HVAC equipment while supporting overall facility maintenance. Responsibilities include working with heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration, plumbing, and building management systems.
Additional duties may involve painting, carpentry, and other maintenance activities related to HVAC projects and facility operations.
Job Requirements
- Design, install, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
- Inspect, test, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment and controls.
- Diagnose and repair boilers, heating systems, cooling towers, refrigeration systems, and associated mechanical equipment.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Support Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) system operations.
- Perform plumbing work related to HVAC installations and repairs.
Required Qualifications
- EPA Certification required.
- Minimum 5 years of HVAC experience in commercial or industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, controls, diagnostics, and refrigeration principles.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.
- Understanding of electrical components and HVAC control systems.
- Experience working with boilers, cooling towers, ventilation systems, and refrigerants.
- Familiarity with plumbing systems related to HVAC operations.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Okmulgee, OK.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
