Payroll Specialist

• Carry out payroll tasks for the company in accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable state and federal laws
• Perform historical edits
• Enter deduction adjustments
• Confirm data sets
• Create payroll reports
• Process checks and direct deposit returns
• Process final payouts
• Process garnishments
• Complete special projects

• High school diploma, or equivalent, required
• Superior computer skills required
• Must possess strong personal organization and time management, with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Ability to multi-task is required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook required
• Strong understanding of payroll accounting, payroll best practices, and payroll application systems
• Must possess a strong work ethic and be a team player
• Prior experience in payroll in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality

Demonstrates proficiency in payroll accounting and best practices, with strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing payroll tasks. Capable of utilizing Microsoft Office tools effectively while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
