Main Line Technician

As a Main Line Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain various components and systems of automobiles, focusing on main vehicle systems to ensure efficient and safe operation. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other technicians and communicating effectively with customers to deliver exceptional service.

• Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership procedures.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems, including flushes, oil changes, and more.
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs.
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs to service advisors and customers in a non-technical manner.
• Inspect and test new vehicles, recording findings to determine necessary repairs. Continuously learn new technical information and skills through formal training sessions to stay abreast of rapidly changing technology.

• 3+ years of technician experience (GM experience preferred).
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification preferred.
• Proven experience in automotive maintenance and repair.
• Large import vehicle experience highly desired.
