Based in Olathe, Kansas USA, this position is responsible for warehousing, shipping, receiving and material handling activities. This includes direct supervision for approximately 20 hourly employees and properly utilizing lead personnel to drive continuous improvement actions for Key Performance Indicators. Via interaction with other department supervisors, improve service to internal customers through the use of Lean enterprise activities, with a keen understanding of the appropriate warehouse and material handling methods.
Key Responsibilities- Constantly build, train employees to meet Company Safety, Cost, Quality and Delivery objectives.
- Establishing or Adjusting work procedures to meet warehouse demands as dictated by production work schedules and work flow
- Develop, implement and maintain solutions for improving material flows through the factory using Lean Principles to include storing and staging materials for line side presentation
- Maintain Inventory Control through regular cycle count procedures, reconciling variances, improved practices, ERP system applications and coordinate Physical Inventory activities
- Closely works with the Materials Analyst and Planning personnel to ensure a "Plan For Every Part" is actively practiced
- Coordinate with Sales and 3rd party transportation for the timely delivery of completed units to customers by over the road and/or vessel shipments
- Coordinate for over the road and overseas container shipment of components to associated assembly facilities
- Ensure material handling equipment is properly utilized and in a safe operating condition

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in associated field preferred
Experience:
- Knowledge of Lean principles in a warehouse setting
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years in Warehouse and Materials supervision
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years in Logistics coordination
- Familiar with Google applications and prior ERP experience preferred. Experience in supervision or leadership position.
