Functional Analyst - Finance
Full-time | IT & Data | Location Olathe, KS, 66062
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer, both now and in the future, without the need for sponsorship. This position requires on-site presence and is not eligible for remote work.
The primary role involves integrating the company's Finance and Accounting components with other elements of the TVH ecosystem. This position is crucial in collecting, understanding, analyzing and specifying business processes and corporate needs, translating them into functional requirements and configuring where required. The incumbent will collaborate closely with the Finance Product Owner to design future‑proof functional solutions that align with business lines, product strategy, and current integrations.
YourRole And Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering & Documentation:
Elicit and document business and functional requirements to create clear and concise functional specifications, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs. - Process Understanding & Analysis:
Gather, analyze, and translate requirements related to Finance and Accounting processes, ensuring technical processes are well‑defined based on these business needs. - Collaboration Across Teams:
Work closely with cross‑functional teams to understand organizational needs and convert them into functional requirements. - Story Understanding & Estimation:
Guide the squad in understanding user stories, helping the team make accurate and realistic estimates. - Future‑Proof Solution Design:
Design and recommend functional solutions that consider the global context of different business lines, ensuring they are scalable and adaptable for future needs. - Continuous Learning & Expertise:
Stay up-to-date with company processes and developments within your functional domain, conduct research, and provide recommendations for improvements that drive business efficiency and effectiveness. - Support Product Development:
Work closely with the Product Owner and Product Manager, providing continuous guidance and follow‑up on the development and implementation of new or enhanced features. - Effective Communication:
Translate technical information for non‑technical stakeholders, ensuring that all parties understand the impact and benefits of the solutions being implemented. - Attention to Detail & Time Management:
Demonstrate strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, paying close attention to detail to ensure timely and high‑quality delivery. - Collaboration with Developers:
Work alongside developers to ensure that solutions are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and align with functional requirements. - Change Management:
Demo new capabilities and lead change adoption, ensuring that new processes and systems are embraced across the organization.
- Relevant
Experience:
At least two years in a similar role, such as functional analysis or business supply chain context. Process management experience within a related environment. - Educational Background:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant work experience may substitute for formal education. - Technical Knowledge:
Prior experience with ERP solutions (e.g., Oracle Fusion) is an advantage. A strong understanding of Finance and Accounting processes is required. - Collaborative Mindset:

Skills:
Excellent attention to detail and ability to organize and manage multiple tasks efficiently. - Agile Mindset:

Approach challenges with a positive attitude and ability to engage with colleagues at all levels. - Occasional Travel:
About 10–20% travel may be required for project collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
