Position Description
Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Site Safety Professional to oversee and maintain a safe working environment on active construction and industrial jobsites. This individual will be responsible for implementing and enforcing safety policies, identifying hazards, conducting inspections, and partnering with field leadership to ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
The Site Safety Professional will report directly to the Safety Director and work closely with superintendents, foremen, and craft personnel to promote a strong culture of safety across all phases of work.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily jobsite operations to ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations
- Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments
- Identify and mitigate workplace hazards including:
- Working at heights
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
- Pinch points
- Caught-between hazards
- Struck-by hazards
- Lead and participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and pre-task planning activities
- Assist field leaders with incident prevention strategies and corrective actions
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions
- Maintain accurate safety documentation and reporting
- Support onboarding and orientation for new employees and subcontractors
- Promote a positive and proactive safety culture throughout the jobsite

Qualifications
- Experience in construction or industrial safety preferred
- Working knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety regulations
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with field personnel and management
- OSHA 30 certification
- CHST preferred
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Ability to walk active jobsites and work in various outdoor conditions
