** The City of Olathe is currently seeking a
** Parks Construction and Infrastructure Worker
** to join our
** Parks Construction
** team. Our Parks Construction Team has the unique privilege of
** building parks
** for the residents of Olathe to  this role you will perform a variety of tasks from concrete to framing to roofing and everything in between. A typical day might include pouring concrete, repairing a structure in a park, and gathering materials for the next project.

** Come join our team as a Parks Construction and Infrastructure Worker, Parks Maintenance and Construction Technician, Craftsperson I or Craftsperson II.Parks Construction and Infrastructure Worker:
Basic experience and knowledge of general maintenance work is required. One year of construction and/or maintenance experience is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A valid driver's license and favorable driving record are required.
** Pay Range:** $20.00/hour to $24.10/hour, depending on experience.

Parks Maintenance and Construction Technician:

Experience with a variety of tools and equipment in the performance of general maintenance or construction is required. Two years of increasingly responsible experience in general construction and/or maintenance is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A valid driver's license and favorable driving record are required.
** Pay Range:** $21.75/hour to $26.51/hour depending on experience.

Parks Craft person I:
Two years of increasingly responsible experience in park maintenance construction is required. One year of lead responsibility is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A valid driver's license and favorable driving record are required. Aquatic Facility Operator's Certification, Backflow Certification, or Certified Playground Inspector credentials are preferred.
** Pay Range:** $23.75/hour to $29.11/hour depending on experience.

Parks Craft person II:
Four years of increasingly responsible experience in park maintenance or construction is required. Two years of supervisory or lead responsibility is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A valid driver's license and favorable driving record are required. Aquatic Facility Operator's Certification, Backflow Certification, or Certified Playground Inspector credentials are preferred.
** Pay Range:** $25.50/hour to $31.81/hour depending on experience.

** 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Will participate in an on-call rotation.
