They are actively seeking a Cost Estimator to support their growing Preconstruction and Cost Management team. This role is ideal for someone with strong conceptual and cost estimating experience, capable of providing early-stage project insights and shaping budgets that align with client goals.

The Cost Estimator will play a key role in supporting project feasibility, developing conceptual cost models, and providing reliable cost guidance throughout design and construction. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse commercial projects that positively impact communities throughout St. Louis and the Midwest.

• Develop conceptual, schematic, and detailed cost estimates for commercial projects
• Prepare and maintain accurate budgets, cost models, and value-engineering analyses
• Collaborate with owners, architects, and engineers throughout design development
• Evaluate contractor proposals and support bid analysis and cost validation
• Review plans, specifications, and market data to ensure competitive and realistic pricing
• Provide clear cost guidance during early design and feasibility phases
• Support project funding applications, phasing, and schedule alignment
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative, client-focused team environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• 5 + years of estimating or preconstruction experience in commercial construction
• Proven conceptual estimating and cost modeling expertise
• Experience working directly with owners, design teams, and contractors
• Strong analytical and communication skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in estimating software, Excel, and market cost databases
