Band & Orchestra Customer Specialist (Full-Time) About the RoleREW Music is seeking an energetic, outgoing individual to join our team and help guide the next generation of band and orchestra students.
This is not a typical retail position. In this role, you will work directly with students and parents, helping them confidently navigate instrument selection, rentals, and the early stages of their musical journey. You’ll play a key role in supporting school music programs and helping students become lifelong musicians.
Who This Position Is Ideal For- Former band or orchestra students (high school or college)
- Individuals with a strong background in instrumental music
- Music majors (any stage) or those who considered music education
- People who enjoy working with families and beginners
- Those looking to stay connected to music in a meaningful way
A music degree is preferred, but a strong band/orchestra background is equally valued.
Responsibilities
- Guide students and parents in selecting band and orchestra instruments
- Assist with rentals, purchases, and accessory recommendations
- Deliver a welcoming, helpful in-store experience
- Support store organization and presentation
- Assist with inventory and product flow
- Work as part of a team focused on student success in music

Schedule
- Full‑time position
- Evenings required (until 8:00 PM)
- Saturdays required
- Hourly pay based on experience and musical background

REW Music is seeking passionate Private Instrumental Music Instructors to teach in‑person private lessons at both our Lenexa and Olathe, Kansas store locations. We are seeking educators who are committed to music education, student engagement, and long‑term studio growth.

POSITION OVERVIEW
This part‑time Private Lesson Instructor role is ideal for musicians who love teaching students of all levels. We want instructors who value creating a strong foundation and cultivating success with and for students from day one. Instructors will design individualized lesson plans, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to performances, events, and group learning opportunities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Teach private music lessons in person in REW Music studios
