Overview
Health Science Adjunct - Human Genetics & Genomics
South College seeks applicants who are knowledgeable about Human Genetics and Genomics, including:
- Gene structure and function
- The manner in which traits and diseases are transmitted from parents to children
- The molecular basis of human traits and diseases
- Education:
A minimum of an acceptable master’s degree in the specific subject matter field (doctorate preferred) - Or an earned master’s or doctoral degree and satisfactory completion of 18 graduate semester hours in the subject matter field
- Experience teaching similar courses at a higher education institute.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching online.
