Position Overview
We are seeking 1–2 full‑time CW‑FIT Research Project Coordinators to expand the evidence‑based CW‑FIT intervention to rural schools by utilizing a CW‑FIT Micro‑credentialing program embedded in a Rural Coaching Model. Rural Coaches will be trained by CW‑FIT Trainers and will then, in turn, train and support teachers. The research project focuses on implementing the rural coaching model in K‑8 Rural and Native classrooms to enhance classroom management and improve students’ academic performance.
The partners in the project will include 120 schools and 480 teachers across rural Kansas, New Mexico, Nebraska, Arizona, Colorado, and Oklahoma. The CW‑FIT Research Project Coordinator will be a CW‑FIT Regional trainer and will oversee recruitment, training, and conference presentations. Willingness to travel out of state and to be flexible in scheduling around school schedules is required. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and management skills as evidenced in work experience.
The position is located at Juniper Gardens Children’s campus (444 Minnesota Ave, Suite 300, Kansas City, KS) and will be a hybrid of on‑site work and telework as deemed by supervisor. Travel reimbursement in addition to salary is provided. All offers of employment are contingent upon satisfactory completion of a background check and available funding. Continuation is contingent upon satisfactory evaluation and available funding.
