Part‑time instructor to teach Acting II to undergraduate theatre majors for Spring 2025. This course builds on Acting I foundations and focuses on advanced acting processes such as scene study and methods of characterization.

• Teach Acting II in a professional and engaging manner, creating a comfortable learning environment.
• Develop and deliver high‑quality instruction and syllabus in accordance with the approved course outline.
• Participate in general faculty functions and faculty development activities, including assessment of student learning outcomes.
• Assess student progress regularly, assign grades in a timely manner, and support students toward degree progression.
• Maintain appropriate records for each class and ensure accessibility for students.
• Complete assessments required by the college and submit census, midterm, and end‑of‑semester grades by deadlines.
• Communicate regularly and promptly with students and the department chair.
• Use Canvas LMS for all courses; faculty must have a laptop with reliable Wi‑Fi access.

• Earned graduate degree from an accredited university, preferably in theatre.
• Previous professional teaching experience at an educational institution (preferred).

• Part‑time, temporary, hourly assignments on an as‑needed basis.
• May include day, evening, weekend, or online courses.

This is a non‑benefited position. Part‑time faculty are eligible for a 25% tuition discount during the semester.
