• Current certification and credentials as a Sign Language Interpreter
• Experience interpreting for students in an educational setting, preferably K-12
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Familiarity with IEP processes and collaboration with educational teams
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt communication styles as necessary
• Organizational abilities to balance caseloads and maintain confidentiality

What You'll Do:

• Interpret spoken communication for students, educators, and staff using American Sign Language
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and administration to support student learning goals
• Facilitate understanding of classroom content and school activities for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Participate in meetings and training sessions as required
• Adapt interpreting style to meet the individual needs of students
