Position DescriptionThe Department of Natural, Health, and Mathematical Sciences at Mid America Nazarene University (MNU), invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of Human Anatomy and Physiology adjunct lab instructor. Human Anatomy I is offered every fall with two sections of the laboratory. Human Anatomy II is offered every spring with two sections of the laboratory. Curriculum is provided. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and to Christian education.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Teach/direct undergraduate Human Anatomy laboratory courses.
- Work under the direction of full-time Biology faculty member.
- Maintain up to date records of student grades.
- Submit grades at midterm and end of semester.
Qualifications:
- A terminal degree in biology or a related field preferred. An MS in a related field will be considered.
- Ability to work collaboratively with department chair and full-time biology faculty.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective teaching.
