Forget the traditional classroom. We aren't looking for a desk-bound administrator who watches the clock.

TPH Academy is expanding to our second Kansas City area location at Homefield in Olathe , and we need our next Lead-Off Starter. While the title says Head of Academics , this role is about commanding the entire student-athlete experience.

If you have a background in education but the heart of a competitor, this is your sandbox.

We need a unique blend of educator, athlete, and entrepreneur who brings:

The Background:

A Bachelor’s degree paired with experience in both educational and athletic settings (as a coach, player, or admin).

The Hustle:

An appetite for a non-traditional schedule and the agility to shift from the classroom to the weight room or court at a moment's notice.

Skills:

Proactive communication, basic budgeting/forecasting savvy, and a quick adaptability to new tech and CRM systems.

The Grit:

A deep desire to build, lead, and mentor student-athletes in a fast-paced, "on-the-go" environment.

Serve as the face of the Academy. Hold athletes accountable to our core traits— work ethic, discipline, and acceptance —and build trust through daily touchpoints.

Recruiting (The Lifeblood)

You will own the local market by cultivating relationships with families, coaches, and influencers to drive enrollment using the TPH Playbook.

Academic Leadership:

Drive our blended learning environment. Manage registration, track student pace, and ensure our athletes win in the classroom so they can win on the field.

Partnership Cultivation:

Work hand-in-hand with our Heads of Sport and Sports Performance Coaches to develop next-generation impact players.

Operational Excellence:

Execute the TPH Playbook. Handle budgeting, scheduling, and logistics to keep the campus running like a clock.

We create a customized, blended learning experience that allows elite student-athletes to boundary-push their academic and athletic potential simultaneously. Step out of the rigid box of traditional schooling and into a dynamic environment where you can truly take extreme ownership of your impact.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 2+ years of experience and/or an equivalent combination of education and academic experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively and teach/coach others.
• Computer skills including Google Suite and ability to learn other software programs utilized by TPH.
