Job DescriptionPosition: Head Start Teacher Assistant
Location: Heartland Early Childhood Center
Starting Date: school year, 175 day calendar
Salary Range: $15.00 per hour depending on experience and education
Hours: Monday-Friday: 8:00-4:00
Duties:
To assist in the Head Start classrooms by providing individual attention to the children, classroom environment and the teacher to enhance the teaching and learning process. Assist teacher with overseeing and inventory of classroom supplies, materials, etc.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent. Early Childhood experience preferred.
2. Pre-employment physical and TB skin test is required.
3. Background check required
