Music Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a passionate Music Teacher for our retail lesson studio. In this role, you will provide private and small-group instruction for beginning to intermediate students on band, orchestral, or popular instruments. You'll create engaging lesson plans, track student progress, and prepare students for recitals, auditions, and school performances. You will collaborate with store staff to support instrument rentals, sales, and accessories needs while helping build studio enrollment.

The ideal candidate combines strong musicianship, prior teaching or coaching experience, and a student-centered, inclusive approach to music education.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and small-group music lessons to students of varying ages
• Develop and adapt lesson plans to student goals and skill levels
• Track and communicate student progress to parents and guardians
• Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and school performances
• Collaborate with store staff to support rentals, sales, and accessories
• Maintain an organized, safe, and inclusive lesson environment
• Support studio enrollment growth through retention and referrals
• Use basic technology for scheduling, communication, and records
