The assistant manager provides day-to-day operational leadership for the therapeutic preschool and related early childhood initiatives. The role ensures delivery of high-quality, developmentally appropriate services aligned to organizational standards, licensure, and accreditation acting as a key liaison among families, staff, and community partners to promote inclusive, holistic child development.
Education- Child Development Associate Credential or 18 college semester credits in child-related courses.
- Bachelor's degree in early childhood education preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of early childhood education experience.
- Minimum 1 year of leadership/supervisory.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development, inclusive practices, and therapeutic integration.
- Familiarity with state licensing and accreditation standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- CPR certification or eligible.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to obtain or maintain qualifications consistent with Missouri childcare director criteria for center size, as applicable to coverage needs, preferred.
