Testing Lab Proctor - OHEC

Starting Salary Range: $15.68 - $19.03 and determined based on relevant years of work experience provided on application and resume.

Position Summary: The Testing Lab Proctor – OHEC is responsible for overseeing and administering exams for the Practical Nursing and Health Occupations departments, ensuring a secure, fair, and accessible testing environment for all candidates. This role monitors exam sessions to identify and report any irregularities or violations of testing policies and guidelines, and ensures ongoing compliance with certification requirements established by federal, state, and external testing agencies.

The Exam Proctor also provides accommodations for students requiring private-room testing, maintaining an equitable and comfortable setting throughout the exam period, and efficiently manages candidate check-in, monitoring, and dismissal as exams are completed. This position reports to OHEC Building Manager.

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, including individuals with disabilities.
• Understanding of confidentiality regarding student records.
• Technical proficiency and software skills in an academic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in an academic environment or equivalent documented experience preferred.
