Plant Engineer
We are seeking a dedicated Plant Engineer to manage and oversee various engineering projects within our facility. This position requires the ability to handle project scopes, budgets, and schedules, ensuring that all designs meet customer specifications and business objectives. The Plant Engineer will play a crucial role in managing multiple projects simultaneously, leading teams, and implementing innovative technologies to enhance production processes.
Responsibilities- Manage project scope, budget, and schedule for primary site and potential warehouse locations.
- Verify final design with customers and stakeholders to ensure specifications are met.
- Interact with and manage contractors and equipment manufacturers.
- Oversee installation of purchased equipment and facility improvements.
- Ensure project documentation is complete, current, and easily retrievable.
- Manage a team responsible for planning and continuous improvement, ensuring consistency with local and corporate standards.
- Assess current production capabilities, identify bottlenecks, and mitigate potential risks.
- Coordinate resources to analyze and resolve production issues.
- Provide direction, leadership, and coaching to operational and project teams.
- Conduct risk assessments, develop contingency plans, and update processes to minimize impact of unforeseen events.
- Assist in implementing quality control measures and conduct root cause analyses for defects.
- Develop cost reduction initiatives and implement strategies to enhance financial performance.
- Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to safety policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering and minimum one year of work experience, or minimum five years of progressive job experience.
- Strong technical, analytical, and project management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams.
- Proficiency in project management related tools.
Skills & Qualifications
- Engineering experience in a manufacturing plant, ideally in food and/or beverage sectors.
- Experience with AutoCAD is beneficial.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $87378.00 - $102797.00/yr.
