Position

As a Lead Advanced Manufacturing Engineer at Honeywell, you will manage several projects in a dynamic, fast‑paced global environment, ensuring compliance with company business policies and procedures. You will work on‑site in Olathe, KS under the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Standards application and product improvement
  • Develop and improve work practices and processes
  • Review process and product quality
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams
  • Lead large‑scale projects
  • Mentor and coach junior‑level engineers
  • Develop new techniques and analytical tools
  • Collaborate with engineering, sourcing and supply base to build the project pipeline and ensure timely execution
  • Establish and drive manufacturing engineering strategy
  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of project managers to conduct workshops
  • Business case development and execution of projects as per process guidelines
  • Build pipeline for year‑on‑year improvement in results
Qualifications

U.S. Person Requirements

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, the candidate must be a U.S. Person, defined as a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or someone with protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

You Must Have
  • 10 years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing related fields
  • Extensive relevant experience in manufacturing engineering
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace)
We Value
  • Master's Degree or advanced professional certification
  • Expert knowledge of manufacturing engineering
  • Strong technical knowledge of Avionics products such as weather radar and collision‑avoidance products
  • Lean/6σ certification
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Self‑motivation
  • Ability to consistently demonstrate business impact and continuous drive for improvement
  • Ability to influence peers and cross‑functional teams to deliver optimal outcomes
