About The Role
Metis is looking to fill a Highways Engineer role to provide technical support on our highways projects.
We have an exciting pipeline of highways schemes, and a growing highways engineer team. To ensure these commissions are delivered to the highest quality standards, we are looking for an experienced Highways Engineer to assist with project delivery and project management.
Key Objectives The Highways Engineer Role Will Cover- Production, review and submission of Highways Engineering projects
- CDM 2015 Responsibilities
- Delivery on medium to large projects
- Support project and commercial management
- Client and stakeholder management
- Support the technical leadership of Highways Engineering projects
- Relevant Civil or Environmental degree or masters level qualification, with a minimum of 2:1 (or equivalent)
- At least two years’ experience in highway or public realm design
- Competency with Microsoft Office, CAD and Civil 3D
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Capacity to manage multiple projects
- Experience in supporting junior team members, helping them to produce exceptional outputs
- Ability to integrate into a team and consult with clients and stakeholders
- Proven track record in delivering projects on time and on budget
