Are you looking to launch your engineering career with hands‑on field experience and meaningful project work? Terracon’s Facilities Service Line is growing, and we’re looking for a motivated Field Engineer or Architect to join our Building Enclosure team in Cincinnati
.
This is a great opportunity for new graduates or early‑career professionals who want to build technical skills, work alongside industry experts, and support a wide variety of client projects. Experience in building enclosures or building science is helpful — but not required. We’re ready to train the right person.
What You’ll Do- Conducting field investigations, observations, and inspections
- Assisting with engineering analysis, calculations, and recommendations
- Supporting the preparation and review of technical reports
- Reviewing construction documents for compliance with plans and specifications
- Helping develop project proposals, cost estimates, and tracking project budgets
- Researching and resolving design and construction challenges
- Reviewing and evaluating field or lab data
- Communicating technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
You’ll work on projects across sectors including public works, transportation, commercial, communications, energy, educational, healthcare, and industrial facilities.

- Ability to travel regionally within the Eastern Midwest (OH, KY, IN, WV, MI, Western PA)
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history
