Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II

Our team develops new or modified processes, defines process equipment requirements and specifications, and reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of advanced aerospace electronics. As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II of Honeywell Aerospace, you will influence the planning and design of manufacturing engineering processes, determine parts and tools needed to achieve manufacturing goals, maximize efficiency through layout analysis, support daily production activities, and drive producibility improvement projects in a challenging environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide test and manufacturing support for the aerospace electronic production lines.
  • Perform yield and performance data analysis to monitor process capability and product health trends.
  • Utilize CAMP, Lean, and Six‑Sigma methodologies to govern engineering standard work practices.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues, facilitate issue identification and analysis.
  • Help grow capacity by reducing cycle time, incorporating new capital equipment, and improving yield.
  • Develop improvements in product design and in the manufacturing and assembly processes for cost and cycle time reductions.
  • Assist development of new processes for new products.
  • Support knowledge for test equipment and preventative maintenance plans to maintain factory capacity and efficient product flow.
  • Facilitate a self‑driven workforce culture to achieve RTY, BIQ, COPQ, and other SQDIC goals.
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
  • 2+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.

  • Product or process engineering experience.
  • Experience with electronics and/or data analysis.
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.
  • Ability to balance priorities in daily tasks and strategic projects.
  • Hands‑on work ethic; initiative and ownership of responsibilities and actions.
  • Ability to partner and collaborate well with team members.
  • Ability to quickly and accurately identify subtle interrelationships and patterns among a variety of problems and issues (process and data correlation of cause/effect across value stream).
  • Conveying information with clarity and directness, ensuring the message is understood across diverse teams.
  • Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) / Lean / Six Sigma experience.
