VP, Resolution Management

This individual is responsible for managing an assigned portfolio of accounts. Reviews existing loan documentation for errors and omissions, and evaluates client's financial strength and capacity to repay outstanding debt. Works to reduce the Bank's exposure to loss and/or maximize the Bank's profits in the assigned portfolio. Essential duties and responsibilities include reducing the bank's exposure to loss in commercial loan workouts, developing and implementing a plan of action to protect and improve the bank's position through negotiating satisfactory repayment schedules, obtaining additional collateral and/or restructuring as appropriate, analyzing financial statements and related information to determine the financial condition and trajectory of the Borrower, making recommendations for additional action as a result of that analysis, maintaining low delinquency ratios in the assigned portfolio, preparing periodic reports to management, reviewing existing loan documentation for errors and omissions, negotiating satisfactory repayment schedules, forbearance agreements, and settlement agreements as needed, obtaining additional collateral and/or restructuring as appropriate, ongoing monitoring of existing loans for conformity to terms and conditions, actively participating with and assisting senior lending officers on larger, more complex credits, monitoring market conditions, making recommendations to reduce loss and increase profits, assisting with the management and liquidation of OREO assets, and assisting with training less experienced staff.

Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications include strong commercial credit; financial/analytical, and collateral/assessment capabilities, strong knowledge of bankruptcy law and issues, related party (owners/guarantors), and related compliance issues, ability to convey, pursue and protect the bank's interests in a professional manner, adherence to bank's credit policies, maintaining required documents; clear exceptions, monitoring covenant compliance, recommending risk rating changes, loan loss recognition and accrual status, ability to prioritize;

handle multiple tasks; and work independently.

Education and/or experience include a Bachelor's degree and work experience involving economics, finance and accounting. Must have seven or more years' experience in Managed Assets/Commercial Loan Workout and Commercial Loan Collections experience, including extensive workout experience in asset based workout and commercial real estate. Experience bringing resolution to work outs for loans ranging from $500,000 to $20 million. Experience interacting with outside counsel on work outs.

Skilled in operation of a personal computer, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and Google Suite.
