What You’ll Do:
  • Respond directly to mental health crisis calls in the community
—meeting individuals where they “live, work, and play”—to provide timely, compassionate, on-site support. [Center vehicle provided].
  • Serve as a calm, steady presence during high-stress situations.
Use trauma-informed de-escalation techniques to help individuals regain a sense of safety, control, and stability.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary crisis response team, law enforcement, emergency services, and community partners to ensure coordinated, person-centered care.
  • Provide short-term, impactful support designed to stabilize individuals in crisis and reduce unnecessary hospitalizations and emergency room visits.
  • Develop safety plans
    , identify coping strategies
, and connect individuals & families to community resources and ongoing supports once the immediate crisis has passed.
  • Maintain clear, timely documentation of services.
  • Participate in required training for crisis response, trauma-informed care, and safety procedures.
Why Join Us?
