- Staffing Coordinator

Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

The
Staffing Coordinator
will be responsible for, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinates and generates efficient and accurate schedules for nurses aides & home health aides.
  • Coordinates and prioritizes assignments based on need; ensuring regular and effective communication with appropriate internal staff, including CHHAs, RNs, managers, and other team members.
  • Coordinates and works with managers, and other appropriate staff, to assign work on a daily basis; promptly alerts management of scheduling gaps for service needs.
  • Ensures accurate and appropriate levels of service within scope of responsibility.
  • Monitors and controls use of overtime and contract labor
  • Ensures Hospice Aides follow company procedures and promptly communicates any concerns or issues to the appropriate manager.
  • Provides input into the clinical evaluations of all Hospice Aides
  • Communicates scheduling-related concerns or issues involving Hospice Aides to the appropriate manager for follow-up.
  • Remains flexible and adaptable regarding work schedule and assignments based on operational needs.

    Education:

    High School Diploma or equivalent, Associate's Degree preferred

    Professional

    Experience:
    • Minimum of 1 year scheduling/staffing experience
    • Must be detail oriented with excellent follow-up skills
    • Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
    • Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
