About the RoleWe are seeking a strong, competent MRI Technologist to join our team at Overland Park
. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled imaging professional who takes pride in producing high-quality studies while delivering exceptional patient care.
This position offers a flexible schedule with the opportunity to pick up shifts on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will be available to support the clinic's primary coverage needs working evening shifts on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:00 or 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with the opportunity to pick up additional hours throughout the week and on weekends as needed.
PositionResponsibilities
Under the direction of the Radiologist, perform MRI procedures according to established protocols.
Responsibilities include:
Performing high-quality MRI exams safely and efficiently
Screening patients thoroughly for MRI safety compliance
Explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort throughout the exam
Reviewing and processing images in RIS and PACS systems
Collaborating closely with radiologists and clinic staff to deliver exceptional patient care
Maintaining equipment quality control and safety standards

MRI Registry (ARRT-MR) or equivalent required
Professional & Technical
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of MRI physics, anatomy, and cross-sectional imaging
Thorough understanding of MRI safety standards and screening protocols
Fully competent in MRI positioning, sequence selection, and image optimization
Experience with contrast administration and patient monitoring (if applicable)
Professional, dependable, and self-motivated
Strong communication skills with a patient-first approach
Detail-oriented and safety-conscious in all procedures
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with radiologists and clinic staff
Flexible and willing to travel to other DIC clinic locations as needed

Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings with a flexible start time between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM, ending at 9:00 PM. Additional hours available throughout the week and on weekends
