PRTF Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) (Full Time)
Location: Olathe, KS

Receive an additional $3.00/hour weekend differential for hours worked Friday at 5:00 PM through Sunday at 10:00 PM.

Consistent 10-hour shifts with schedule options including:

• Sunday through Wednesday: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM
• Wednesday through Saturday: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM

KidsTLC is looking for caring and motivated individuals to join our Autism/IDD team as Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).

Already have your RBT credential? Great!

Not an RBT yet? We still want to hear from you. Candidates may be hired without an RBT credential and obtain it after hire. A pay increase is offered once the RBT credential is obtained.

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) while receiving ongoing training and working under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

As an Autism/IDD RBT, you'll play an important role in helping children build skills, increase independence, and make meaningful progress.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing individualized support to children and adolescents on our Autism/IDD unit
• Learning each child's treatment plan and implementing programming accurately under the supervision of a BCBA
• Using ABA-based strategies and instructional techniques
• Helping children develop behavioral, communication, social, and daily living skills
• Collecting data and tracking client progress
• Maintaining a safe, structured, organized, and nurturing environment
• Completing required documentation accurately and on time
• Communicating professionally with parents, coworkers, and supervisors
• Participating in regular program training, team meetings, and individualized child-programming discussions
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide consistent, high-quality care
• Supporting projects and activities that contribute to continued program development

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 21 years of age
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential OR willingness to obtain the RBT credential after hire
• Ability to work with youth who may experience emotional and behavioral challenges
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to establish trust, confidence, and mutual respect with children, families, and coworkers
• Ability to work independently while also being a strong team member
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and web-based programs

• Bachelor's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, special education, psychology, social work, or a related field
• Current RBT credential
• Previous experience working with children in a residential, educational, behavioral health, or clinical environment
• Experience supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), intellectual/developmental disabilities (IDD), or related developmental needs
• Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
